1. INCLUDE TEXT
The ads are images...so giving them context helps your friends and followers know WHY you’re posting it and WHAT IT MEANS to you! On facebook, use the space above the image where it asks you to say something about this photo..to..well..SAY SOMETHING about the photo.
2. INCLUDE DETAILS
If you’re not sure what to say can simply use the text from the image and include the main phone # (800-429-4332) + a link to your city's location page URL or the Laundry Care home page (laundrycare.biz).
3. INCLUDE CALL-TO-ACTION
Get more out of every post by adding a “CALL TO ACTION”--phrases like: “Schedule a pick-up today”, “Call now”, “Give us a try today”, “Start today”, “Sign-up now”, etc.
Did you notice a pattern there? A call-to-action includes a verb or action phrase and time sensitive word/ phrase that creates a sense of URGENCY. That’s the recipe that turns potential clients into clients! Usually, effective calls-to-action, or CTAs use words like- now, today, instant, etc.- for general ads- or- terms such as- this week only, limited time, before it’s too late, save now- for special offers or discounted deals.
4. POST EVERYWHERE
Ok...hear us out. Clearly, you don’t want to go overboard and annoy people...or worse be considered SPAM. Start with posting on your own Facebook page and all social media platforms where you have a profile. As you know, Facebook groups (mom/ parent related, resale, neighborhood-focused) are the BEST forum to offer services. Find the “sweet spot” for posting in these groups often, but not too often by:
Posting ads 1-3 times per week in at least 4-6+ LOCAL Facebook groups
Following any guidelines for posting ads or promoting business guidelines included in the About section. You can also check the group’s Recent Activity to see if other people have posted business related things.
Participating in groups! Make a habit of checking your local “target” groups. Check their page or change your preferences to stay updated on their activity. Leave an occasional comment and like their posts. Show you are not only a part of their community, you also offer value to it. Share personal tips, referrals, etc. when relevant to show you’re not just using their platform for your own benefit.
5. BE CONSISTENT
Make life easier by posting on the same days every week. Write it in your calendar as a reminder. You can find ads and other creative marketing materials in the Resources section of Laundry Care Connection, as well as under the Files tab on the Laundry Care Provider Facebook Group. Feel free to add some of the archived ads back into the rotation after a couple of weeks or so. Take a moment to choose an ad for each group based on the members (moms, saving money, etc.). Make sure to choose an ad that stands out to you, as your friends and followers will likely agree.
